- Maximum occupancy is 4 Guests per cabana. Each additional Guest is US$25 per night. Children 12 and under are free of charge; 1 child per adult.

Please note that these policies are standard for small resorts and outfitting lodges. They are established to maximize planning, protect guides and lodges during peak times in a seasonal business. We thank you in advance for your patronage and respect of our interest. We highly recommend Traveler’s Insurance or Trip Insurance so that in the event of unforeseen circumstances you and Machaca Hill are protected. Please check with your Travel Agent or your current insurance company for the added coverage. It has been our experience that this helps very much.
Reservation Policy:
A 50% Deposit is due to confirm reservation and the remaining 50% due 30 days prior to arrival.
Cancellation Policy:
All cancellations must be received in writing at the lodge.
- Prior and up to 60 days 100% of deposit is refundable or may be transferred to another date/Person.
- Between 30-60 days 50% of the deposit may be refunded or transferred to another date or Person.
- 30 days and less, deposit will not be transferred or refunded.
Machaca Hill Packages Include:
The number of nights lodging and days on tour or fishing as specified in your package, Land Transfer between Punta Gorda airstrip and Machaca Hill Lodge, 9% hotel tax, general sales tax where applicable, 3 meals per day, activities on site such as canoe use, internet usage, local drinks including beer, soft drink and rums. Note: the above mentioned items are not included for those who are booking room only or agent packages that differ from Machaca’s advertised packages. |
